PhotoSlice of Life In Photos – Caje By The Bottom Line - January 29, 2021 0 2030 FacebookTwitterPinterestWhatsApp Photos by Kareena Dhillon Caje offers a wide selection of drinks, from classic lattes to their original drinks such as the “Caje Blended.” The lively shop also advertises a variety of smoothies and acai bowls, making it the perfect location for all types of beach-goers. Unfortunately, outdoor seating is still prohibited in Santa Barbara County, but Caje offers an expansive amount of tables to cater to patrons when restrictions ease. In the photo, long ceramic tables span the length of the cheery cafe. Caje is a colorful coffee shop in the heart of Isla Vista on the corner of Seville Road and Embarcadero del Norte. Drawing students and community members alike, Caje has fruitfully kept up with the trends, adding tributes to Star Wars and seasonal favorites. The other side of Caje also features colorful artwork illustrating a large swell of the Isla Vista coast. The coffee shop is also vibrantly adorned with flowers and plants of varying hues. Caje features a wide range of beverages from teas and ice blends to lattes and smoothies. Featured above is a Matcha Latte, which can be offered both as a hot drink or iced. As a frequented Matcha savant, I can confidently say Caje has the best Matcha lattes to offer!Pictured above is Caje’s signature acai bowl, the “Bermuda,” featuring a blend of acai, coconut milk, pineapple juice, mango, and banana. Layered on top is granola, strawberries, banana, blueberries, coconut shreds, hemp, and honey for a delightful burst of fruity delight. While Caje has an assortment of food options, their avocado toast is a brilliant addition to any beverage. The flavorful entree includes avocado, cherry tomatoes, lemon pepper, chili pepper, and balsamic vinegar for a wonderful blend of spice and spunk.
