UC Santa Barbara’s (UCSB) Thunderdome pulsed with energy as Grammy-nominated rapper Big Sean headlined the Associated Students Program Board’s annual “The Warm Up” on April 5. The exclusive concert, open only to UCSB students, followed the off-campus spring event Deltopia, offering a lively nighttime experience on campus.

Originally slated to open the show, BabyTron canceled on the day of the event, leaving Big Sean to take the stage solo. However, the Detroit-raised artist, known for hits like “My Last” and “Bounce Back,” is no stranger to the UCSB crowd. After delivering a dynamic performance at the 2011 “Welcome Back Concert”, the musician made a highly anticipated return, keeping the crowd fired up throughout the night.
