The Queer Student Union held a drag show on January 31, 2013 to help raise funds for a trip to the Western Regional Conference, a huge LGBTQIA conference being held at UC Santa Cruz this year. They brought out a whole slew of drag queens to perform and celebrate the diversity of our community. Even the audience got involved, tipping the queens with extra money for support and participating in an impromptu dance contest dubbed, “The Diva Games.” It was a wild, raging, unbelievably fun party the entire night made better by the knowledge that everyone involved was helping out a worthy cause.
