On Saturday, November 19th AS Humyn Rights Board hosted Peace in the Park: A Humyn Rights & Social Justice Teach-In, at People’s Park. This event was dedicated to a variety of activist movements ranging from budget cuts to activist movements in Egypt. One main objective of the event was to show people how to reconnect with themselves and others through outlets such as workshops, arts and crafts, and open mic speeches, in order to create an open space for constructive dialogue.
