The the ECO:nomics conference in Goleta, Calif., the Wall Street Journal’s Online Deputy Managing Editor and Executive Editor Alan Murray interviewed Bill Gates, chairman of Microsoft and Microsoft and co-chairman of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’s, on the future of the world’s energy.
It is unusual that the Gates Foundation is focusing on energy because its main objectives are to improve health, development and learning for the world, but Gates argues that lowering the cost of energy would significantly improve the foundation’s cause.
