- One can of peaches
- One box of yellow cake mix
- One stick of butter (melted)
- One pinch of nutmeg
- One and a half tablespoons of cinnamon
- One and a half cup of white sugar
- One scoop of vanilla ice cream (optional)
Steps:
- 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- 2. Put the can of peaches, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg into a medium sized saucepan on medium heat. Bring to a slight boil.
- 3. Put the peach mixture into a square cake pan. Then, add the box of yellow cake mix on top of the peaches.
- 4. Add melted butter on the dry cake mix. Make sure the butter covers all of the cake mix.
- 5. Place in the oven and bake for 50 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- 6. Let the peach cobbler cool for 15 minutes.
- 7. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
Isn’t this also called dump cake? I’ll make this for dessert tonight. I have also used cherry pie filling and fresh blueberries. Used 2 sticks butter and baked in a 13×9 pan.

What size can of peaches? What size square pan? Is that enough butter to cover the entire dry cake mix?
