Shortly after 2:30 p.m., UCSB’s Young Democratic Socialists of America (YDSA) Chapter began their march to demand COVID relief funding for all students. Led by YDSA member Taylor Clark, the protestors made their way through campus toward Chancellor Yang’s on-campus residency. Many students, including YDSA Secretary Patrick Fairbanks, took turns expressing their grievances towards the University.Protestors were encouraged to grab a piece of chalk to freely express their frustrations.Protestors covered the driveway of Yang’s residence with messages expressing their frustrations with the University.
