A power washer worth $499 was taken during a burglary early Wednesday morning from Blenders in the Grass, a popular juice bar and smoothie shop in Isla Vista.
A male suspect reportedly entered store premises at 1:10 a.m. on Wednesday morning and moved a power washer to a back area gate behind the store parking lot. Two male suspects returned minutes later to haul the machine into the back of their truck and drove off, Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Kelly Hoover said in an email on Monday.
Police are investigating the incident. A manager at Blenders in I.V. declined to comment.
