In all of my work, my goal is to represent women of different, unique body types. These three works illustrate my recent thoughts and emotions around being at an awkward stage between being a student and an independent adult. I find it comforting and empowering to portray strong, muscular women in my art since the media often only shows women with unrealistic body types. My hope is that other women will see themselves in my work and feel like their bodies and emotions are represented.
